A Second Letter to my Fellow Patriots

Louise Mirrer, CEO of the New York Historical Society, was interviewed by Smithsonian Magazine on the topic of the Nazi Holocaust. According to her, the most evil and devious strategy used by the Nazis to inspire an entire population to hate an ethnic group wasn’t guns or tanks, it was ACCLIMATIZATION.  She talked about how the Nazi strategy in German controlled territories during the 1930s and 1940s was to slowly acclimatize residents to increasingly shocking activities, each outshining the last.  A book being burned isn’t nearly as bad as a home being set ablaze, which isn’t nearly as bad as someone being murdered, and so on.  They eventually get to a place where atrocities which would have once been appalling, become common place.

 

“You kind of lose the capacity to feel appalled. And then you just believe it,” Mirrer says. “Being exposed to such appalling comparisons over an extended period of time desensitized even the most well-meaning of people, so that comparisons like the Jew and the poisonous mushroom eventually came to seem ‘normal.’”

 

She went on to say “The strongest manifestation of anti-Semitism in the exhibition is in the children’s books. Anti-Semitism really has to be introduced at the earliest possible moment in the education of German children.”

 

What is happening around us?  One crisis after the next, one scandal after another. When you read the words above, doesn’t it sound like the same climate as the early Nazi regime?

 

What is happening in our country right now comes down to a simple formula:

Celebrate and normalize the absurdities and atrocities of the Left… Incite the Right to violent hysteria so that there is an excuse for martial law and the removal of rights. 

 

True evil is spreading and becoming normal.  This is the tyranny our founding fathers cautioned us about.  These are the times the Bible warned us about.  If you aren’t afraid, you aren’t aware.

A COUNTRY WORTH FIGHTING FOR

My Great Uncle Harry was a veteran of WWI.   Whenever I visited him as a child, I would ask him to see his neatly folded uniform in the chest at the foot of his bed.   Despite my prodding, he would never talk about his time in France, other than to say it was “Hell on Earth.”   I offered the question… “Uncle Harry, if it was so bad, why did you go?” His answer has always stuck with me… “because that’s what young American men did.” He was an amazing man. A Second Statement to the Left

  Wolves were used by Vikings to attack their enemies in battle. Exceptionally hard to train, wolves only submitted to the will of their masters when food was sharply rationed; made available only in response to 'correct' behaviors. Making wolves completely dependent on their masters for food was the only way to control them. Binding them, beating them, even killing the alpha as an example to the other wolves had no lasting effect. Dependency was the only method to maintain control.   Are you free?
